I researched all over for something that was very specific to my goal, but yet versatile enough and portable enough to be safe and easy to use by my own team. I checked out several packages, installed the demos, only to discover that none of them had as many features, or as many safety checks, as Octeth. I deal with a list of 400,000+ people, this is by no means a small list, very robust and very active. Also, to make things even more challenging, my list is not in English, so OEMP’s multi-language support was absolutely crucial to my goal. I run Qmail with big concurrency patch, this combined with Octeth means that my little tiny server (not even a pentium!) can burn through this list in a few hours. With Octeth I gained an extremely professional quality platform that my team uses for research, business and even fun (valentine’s cards to 400,000 people is cool!).
