It’s been a long time since our last status update for Oempro v4.1 development. While we are approaching to the end of Oempro v4.1 development, I want to give you a detailed update and share some screen shots.

Development Status

We have been working on v4.1 for almost 7 months, we have made lots of improvements at the back-end, changed the user interface and added several cool new features. In the meantime, we are preparing to release value-added services for Oempro which will let you to run professional, enterprise level email marketing campaigns without any technical knowledge or requirements. All Oempro plug-ins are being revised and improved to match the new v4.1 user interface standards.

Oempro is designed for small businesses, enterprises and ESPs. It’s currently being used by hundreds of ESPs, design agencies as well as thousands of small businesses and enterprises in more than 120 countries.

Licensing and Pricing

With the release of Oempro v4.1 we are also going to change licensing model and pricing. Currently, we have three Oempro editions named as “Starter”, “Corporate” and “ESP”. We are going to stop categorizing Oempro in three editions with different features and user accounts. Instead of feature categorization, the Oempro pricing will be based on the number of user accounts. Feature set will be the same for all licenses but the number of user accounts will be limited. Service fee will also be increased with the release of Oempro v4.1, this is a required procedure in order to give you a better, faster support service.

Upgrading

All Oempro users with active service subscription will be able to upgrade their Oempro version to v4.1. If the service subscription has expired, it can be easily extended from the client area. Old Oempro v3 and v4.0.x editions will be upgraded to the equivalent Oempro v4.1 license (based on user account amount set in the license) during the upgrade. Upgrading your Oempro from v4.0.x to v4.1 is easy and will take only a minute. Octeth support team will also be ready to assist you during upgrade and installation processes.

New user interface, CodeIgniter PHP framework powered user interface engine, easier translation and re-branding, improved full featured API, improved plug-in engine, campaign performance comparison, powerful email template builder and editor, A/B split testing, improved email design testing service integration, more detailed reporting, pre-defined email header and footers, real-time statistics, global suppression list management and much more. Addition to several new features, we have implemented more than 300 improvements on existing features.

Future

The new v4.1 user interface will also let us to add fantastic new features in the future. Therefore, we are quite excited about this release. I want to thank all of our beta testers who have tested the new v4.1 for several weeks with us and provided us great feedback.

Release Date

We are planning to release Oempro v4.1, new plug-ins and value added services in April. The pricing and feature set of Oempro v4.1 will be announced soon. Please stay tuned.
